I cannot replicate the issue on a Windows 10 machine and there is a possibility that it isn't doing it on a Server 2019 server that doesn't have the RDS roles on it (I will test this again tomorrow, I think) We do have a Transform file, but my tests today have installed the software without this to make sure it wasn't part of the issue, Whilst we are using an older version of the software in production (vv1902120047), I have today tried the latest (v2000620042) on a test server and encountered similar results. Sometimes these processes just seem to eventually terminate without trace, sometimes we get a "fatal" error pop up about being unable to contact the DDE server.
Adobe plugin for ie pdf#
This often causes the next PDF to open on a grey screen.

This works fine but sometimes (but not every time) the tab with the PDF emedded is closed, the AcroRd32.exe processes (it spawns two per tab) don't close down.

The problem we seem to have is a couple of sites that we use open PDF's from the browser, which calls the Acrobat plug-in. We are in the process of migrating to a new RDS farm running Server 2019 DC and are encountering some rather odd issues with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar issues and if so, how they have overcome them.
